OUR METHODOLOGY
At HMA Tax, we are the UK’s leading Capital Allowance specialists who are used to regularly dealing with claims and ensuring that they are processed quickly, efficiently and effortlessly. As such we have a refined process which you can monitor with us.
Week 1
DUE DILIGENCE & DESKTOP REVIEW
Initially, we will check the property details to ensure that it qualifies for a claim. We will be looking at the type of property, when it was purchased and your income or corporation tax rates.
Based upon the initial fact find we will review the property to provide an estimate of the total amount that could be claimed and how much tax can be saved over what period of time.
Week 2 and 3
PROPERTY SURVEY
We will then arrange for a member of our Surveying team to visit the property. Our Surveyors have a great deal of experience in identifying Embedded Capital Allowance items within commercial properties.
Week 4
TAX SPECIALIST & REPORT
Once our Surveyor has completed their report, our tax specialists will assess and quantify the level of Allowances the property will qualify for.
Our Chartered Tax Specialists will prepare a detailed report for approval by yourself or your accountant, after that we will help ensure its submission to HMRC is done correctly.
